Pacific NW French Bulldog Club (PNWFBC)

(original name was Greater Willamette French Bulldog Club, name change to Pacific NW French Bulldog Club was in
2007)

Informal meetings were held the quarterly
mostly at dog shows, some at a restaurant. Being the membership is scattered through the Pacific Northwest, meets at shows
seem to be easiest for members to attend.
From 2000 to present the club has:
- Kept Minutes from meetings (now formal
according to Roberts Rules)
- Obtained Non-Profit corporation status with the State of Oregon,
- Obtained
an EIN number with the IRS
- Created our logo and Membership form
- Opened a bank account with
Bank of America for the club
- Completed our By-Laws
- Started a website

Set up our accounting on a computerize program
Over the next 8 years, put on 6 Fun Matches and activities
The dates
of our matches were
2001 – Janurary Fun Match held after Rose City judging completed.
Oct 11 & 12 Supporting club for the
National Specialty, Beaverton Oregon
2005- August 27th Fun Match
2006- Sept 10th Fun Match
2007- October 13th- Fun Match with Obedience
Education/Demonstration after the
2008- Had booth, Participated in the 2008 AKC Experience, Hillsboro, Oregon
2008-
Sept 6th, Fun Match after Emerald Cluster show
Activities of the club have continued on an ongoing basis,
PNWFBC has
become AKC Sanctioned in 2008
completing 2 AKC required B/OB matches
as of November 2010, waiting for status to continue on with
A/OA matches before we become AKC Licensed.
12-2010 Approval from AKC to move forward with our Plan
A and OA matches
4-2011 A OA Match,, Approved by AKC
1-2012
A OA Match, approved by AKC, Presentation sent in to AKC requesting advacement to Licensed Status.
